Everyday is a Sweet Potato day

Somos criaturas de hábitos e para mim esses hábitos refletem-se na alimentação: consigo comer a mesma comida todos os dias durante semanas.

Comidas fáceis, nutritivas e práticas são os 3 pilares nos quais eu mais me apoio no que diz respeito à alimentação.

Esta receita é super fácil e versátil, pode acompanhar carne, peixe, hambúrgueres (vegetarianos ou não), saladas ou até mesmo um snack para meio do dia. Eu normalmente junto-as às minhas salad bowls ou então com os hambúrgueres – a acompanhar o Green Burger fica uma delicia!

Ingredientes:

  • Batata doce
  • Orégãos
  • Alho em pó
  • Sal
  • Pimenta

Passo a passo:

  • Pré-aqueçer o forno a 150 graus Celsius
  • Lavar bem as batatas doces pois irá ser cozinhada com casca
  • Cortar as batatas aos cubos (Também pode cortar as batatas em meia lua ou em palitos)
  • Num tabuleiro com papel vegetal, dispor as batatas e temperar com orégãos, alho em pó, sal e pimenta
  • Massagar as batatas com o tempero
  • Levar ao formo por 25-35 minutos a 150 graus Celsius (dependendo de como as batatas foram cortadas)
  • Tirar as batatas quando estiverem moles e cozinhadas por dentro

This recipe is super easy and versatile, you can have it with fish, meat, burgers (vegetarian or not), salad bowls or even for a mid day snack. I normally add them to my salad bowls or burgers – They are a delicious choice to go with my Green Burger!

For this recipe you will need:

  • Sweet Potato
  • Oreganos
  • Garlic Powder
  • Pepper
  • Salt

Steps:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius
  • Wash the sweet potato well as it will be cooked with the skin
  • Cut the potatoes in cubes (You can also cut the potatoes in half a moons or in a french fries shape)
  • In a tray with parchment paper, place the potatoes and season them with oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper
  • Massage the potatoes with the seasoning
  • Take it to the oven for about 25-35 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius (depending on how the potatoes were cut)
  • Take the potatoes out of the oven when they are soft and the inside is cooked
